PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF WOMEN

 In Programs

Since 2015, the Brilliance Volunteer Chapter has provided free coaching, counseling, mentorship, and guidance to women and youth to improve professional personal development by creating balance, and providing mental clarity. Our chapter also provides free assistance by providing written material, counseling, coaching sessions done 1-on-1 or in groups. Our seminars are led by a panel of accredited women who are today’s leaders in health, business, and legal industry.

Our goal is to help women find their confidence and shine the “light” on our hidden heroes in our communities. Our organization has taken NO money, but all fees have been paid for by the CEO of our 503C organization. Since our efforts have started small, our vision is to grow our programs to provide support on a larger scale, especially with youth programs, such as camps, workshops, open-discussion seminars (ongoing for the last five years) about issues that matter to our young generation, such as womens’ rights, and gender equality for all on a professional/personal level. We are looking to partner with other corporations or individuals who can help support our women and children’s mental health and educational skills for all and provide educational equality. Since our program enhances the United Nations Sustainable Development goals, #5, Gender Equality and Women Empowerment/Human Rights. We are looking forward to working with UN based organizations and programs to provide all possible opportunities to our women and youth for a better future tomorrow.

The reason the Brilliance Chapter chose to align itself with the UN SDG is because , together we can work for the improvement of women and youth on a practical level on a larger scale, worldwide, wherever there’s a need. Diversity of our team’s members’ backgrounds would give us a benefit to see the larger picture and connect on different levels, such as culture and language. The chapter has a large-scaled event planned on March 8, 2020 on International Women’s Day with a panel of international diplomats, representatives of health, law, and other fields that will advocate the foundation’s purpose of enhancing the lives of women and youth in need to discuss and find solutions for today’s problems, bringing fresh perspectives.

The foundation is looking forward to future seminars about different topics, such as domestic violence, parenting needs, teen issues, and youth and women’s mental health, especially after the Covid pandemic, where stress and anxiety is at peak. We are searching to join with mental health providers and educational institutes to provide possible assistance to women and youth in need. Since we have yet to have any fundraising efforts, the foundation is seeking financial aid, educational, and training opportunities for our team members and volunteers to help fulfill our foundation’s needs and improve the lives of whom we support.
