My name is Aliya Shams. I’m a New Jersey based Artist who works mainly in all mediums.
I  hold a Bachelor degree from Punjab university and has long ago started creating art full time.
I have  worked for several years in Abstract paintings with a Pakistani well renowned artist Mansoor Rahi. In Pakistan I had several successful exhibitions and had Newspapers and TV interviews about her Art work.
From last decade I have been a very busy Artist in New Jersey. I have worked as a Vice President in Artist GUILD Organisation in Fortlee and teach Art to all ages in Fortlee Community center. I participates in various exhibitions in North Jersey and won multiple titles and prizes for her work.
I have skills of painting in all mediums like watercolor, oil, acrylic, dry pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, pen and ink….. and I also knows paper making, silk painting, interior design, photography, block printing, tie and dye and murals.
As an Artist I captures the dynamic inspiring vistas of the majestic landscape. I like realistic depictions of the transformative effect of light and color in the object are life affirming. I have a reverence for nature and love of the outdoors.
My activities include traveling, hiking, swimming, reading, painting and volunteering in community center, schools and different organizations.
