YOUTH MENTORSHIP AND GUIDANCE PROGRAM

 In Programs

In 2015, the Brilliance Volunteer chapter began personal development programs for women and youth. Free coaching, counseling, and mentoring programs were introduced to those who were not able to afford private services. In addition, group coaching was made available. Public events were created with a panel of women from different professional backgrounds sharing their real-life experiences with young adults and women of different backgrounds to meet today’s challenges and enhance the United Nations Gender Equality program. These events were held to empower women and bring youth by providing them with a platform of people who were able to successfully overcome challenges, In 2015, the chapter held a Mother & Daughter event, in addition to several others. These events opened new opportunities for women and youth to share their personal experiences about racial discrimination, domestic violence, youth violence, mental and physical abuse in personal lives and the workplace. These events are powerful tools for the Brilliance Foundation to bring awareness about issues regarding women and youth.

The foundation is continually conducting surveys to meet these goals. These surveys are meant to provide information to guide our future programs. Brilliance Foundations is looking for all forms of support to hold additional events on a regular basis.
